Once you've prepared your files, jacket images and compiled your metadata, you should be ready to deliver your content and start selling via Snapplify.

You can deliver your content and metadata to Snapplify in two ways:

  1. SFTP content upload
  2. CoreSource channel integration

Secure delivery via SFTP

Use SFTP to securely upload metadata, assets, and jacket images.

Snapplify provides SFTP details (hostname, username, password, port).

ElementExample
Hostnameincoming.snapplify.com
Username(your unique username)
Password(your unique password)
Port22 (the port required for SFTP)

  • Example:
    /20140223_1623.xml /assets/9780801448157.pdf
    /images/9780801448157.jpg

Jacket images are optional. If you are submitting an ePDF file that contains a cover image on the first page of the ePDF, then it will automatically be located and displayed as the jacket image of your asset.

If you are processing a format other than ePDF, or if your asset does not contain a cover image, then jacket images are required. Only one jacket image should be uploaded per asset.

Using SFTP to transfer files

Use an application that supports SFTP.  We recommend FileZilla Client, a fast and reliable cross-platform FTP, FTPS and SFTP client with lots of useful features and an intuitive graphical user interface.

Using FileZilla to transfer files

  1. Enter the Host, Username, Password, and Port information and click on Quickconnect
  2. From your documents folder where your asset and metadata files exist, drag and drop those files to one of the 3 folders listed below
  3. If your files have transferred successfully, it will move to the successful transfers tab (bottom left of the FileZilla window)
  4. Email [email protected] to notify Snapplify about the upload.

Integrated content delivery via CoreSource

You can also deliver your content to Snapplify by setting up a direct delivery channel using CoreSource:

  1. Email your standard Channel Setup Form to [email protected].
  2. One of our team members will complete the form and return it to you.
  3. You can then liaise with your CoreSource representative to set up the channel.
