If you’re a bookseller or publisher using Snapplify technology to sell digital content on your website, product vouchers will be sent to your customers so that they can access their products.

Here’s how this simple process works:

If you're a bookseller or publisher using Snapplify to distribute digital products via your own website, your customers will receive a voucher to access the digital content they’ve purchased. This article outlines the customer journey after purchasing a digital product on your site.

Customer Flow for Redeeming a Voucher

  1. Customer purchases a digital product
The user completes their purchase on your website using your usual e-commerce workflow.
  2. Customer is informed about digital access
Notify the user that the purchase is for a digital product, and they will need the Snapplify Reader app to access the content.

  3. Voucher is delivered via email
If you included recipientEmail when creating the voucher through the API, the customer receives an email with:

    • A voucher code

    • Instructions on how to redeem it

  4. Customer redeems the voucher
The customer visits redeem.snapplify.com, enters the voucher code, and signs in using:

    • An existing Snapplify, Google, Microsoft, or Apple account

    • Or creates a new Snapplify account

  5. Customer accesses the content
After redeeming the voucher, the customer downloads the Snapplify Reader app on their device, signs in, and accesses their content.
