We report on the following items:
Date | Date that product was sold. |
Supplier name | Publisher name as per the platform. |
Order reference | Order number for the product. |
ISBN | The digital ISBN of the product. |
Title | The title of the product sold. |
Quantity | The total number of units sold per title will always appear as = 1 because each ISBN sold is listed on a separate line of the report. |
Returns | The total number of units returned—where a refund was offered (pursuant to our returns policy)—will appear with Quantity = 1, and the currency amount will show as a negative value to indicate that a return has taken place. Each return will always have a corresponding sale entry with a positive currency amount, reflecting the original purchase. This creates a clear "in and out" record, representing the sale and return of the ISBN. |
Territory of sale | This is the country in which the ISBN was sold. |
Currency | This is the currency in which the sale is reported to the publisher. |
Total | This is the amount received from the customer for the purchase of the title. |
Discount | The discount provided by the Publisher to Snapplify. |
Total Amount | The amount due to the Publisher based on the total after applying the Discount. The invoice submitted to Snapplify must match this amount. |
Digital List Price (DLP) | Exclusive of VAT. |
VAT Clarification: We report in the same currency as agreed in your distribution agreement and per the VAT status as supplied on the metadata.VAT is included for South African clients at 15% and Kenya clients at 16% (the "Total" and "Total Amount" will therefore be inclusive of VAT amounts).
Any other country is supplied at the VAT-exclusive price (Digital List Price).
