If you’ve already delivered your content to Snapplify and need to make changes, you can update your files at any time using SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).
This guide shows you how to update:
- Asset files (ePUB or ePDF)
- Jacket images (JPG)
- Metadata files (XML or CSV)
Updating asset files
To update existing asset files:
- Upload the updated ePUB or ePDF via SFTP.
- Ensure the file name and ISBN are exactly the same as the existing asset in our catalogue, and no metadata is required.
- If you're updating the asset file with a new ISBN (e.g. for a new edition), this will be treated as a new asset. You’ll need to upload both the asset file and updated metadata.

Updating jacket images
You can supply updated jacket images in two ways, no metadata is required for updating existing jacket images:
Included within the asset file: no separate upload needed.
As separate JPG files: upload the updated jacket image via SFTP.
Jacket images can either be part of the asset file or delivered separately. Learn more about preparing your jacket images for your files.
Updating metadata only
If you only need to update your metadata (such as price or description), follow this article: How to update metadata for your content.
